    Hey,

I have to layers which form the roof and the floor of a room.

Now I want to find a way to let the whole room shake like there is a smal earthquake.

can someone help me how I can achieve this effect ?

    Thanks a lot

Precompose, apply wiggle to the position.
Or, precompose and apply wiggle to the camera.

Wiggle can be done using expressions or the wiggle animation helper. Pop open the AE help system and explore them to decide which might work better.

You will also need lots of motion blur.

And search this forum or other AE user sites for EARTHQUAKE.

Videocopilot makes a great plugin called Twitch that is fully adjustable with lots of different types of effects. Well worth the cash.

Color Grading presets for After Effects, Premiere, Final Cut Pro etc., plus free presets and more.
