  Coss Fade Vegas 10 not functioning, how come?

  Obviously I am Quite new to video editing. I have Douglas Spotted Eagle’s tutorial. I cant find a reference to turning the cross fade on or off.

  Turn on Automatic Crossfades.
  Use the toolbar icon or the Ctrl+Shift+X shortcut.

  Hi Leo,

  Try grabbing the upper corner edge , click and drag it into the footage for the desired length of fade. Annother way is to have to pieces of footage, click and drag one piece into the other and it will automatically crossfade.
