  Clips not showing from time to time

  I made a video from several clips, but when I want to play it in the preview window, some clips don’t show, it’s just black. If I close and open SV again, it may be possible that those clips will show up, but others won’t and so on. Basically, it’s just a matter of the preview window. Is there anything I can do to solve this?

  Where did the clips come from? What codec do they use? This usually happens when you use video that has a codec that doesn’t edit easily like DivX or Xvid. You can use a free utility like GSpot to determine which codec the files use.
