Avid to AE for Color Correction workflow
I’m working on a film at the moment…editing in Avid Xpress pro and I want to do color correction in After Effects because I’m more familiar with it. I’m just not quite sure what my workflow should be to get all the color correction done after I finish with my cut. Different scenes are going to have very different color correction schemes and with many transitions and dissolves I don’t see how I can merely bring the final project entirely into after effects at once. How do most people accomplish this? I can definitely figure it out the long way but what do professionals do in this scenerio. Thanks.
