  Vegas 10 Hangs up when loading Files

  I have re installed Vegas Pro 10.0a
  I have a Asus Motherboard, Intel i5 Processor 4 core. 4 Gig of DDR3 ram and a ATI 1 gig card.
  Trying to load a HD File from my Hard drive, it gets to about 4% and the whole thing freezes. I have to exit and restart to get back the screen.

  If I load a .AVI file generated from Pinnacle 14 via CVBS (Video) Vegas has no problem.

  Your help would be greatfully received

  I would update to the latest 10.0c. That has lots of bug fixes that might solve your problem.
