I’m working on a new project that has 2 video tracks. One of the tracks has text falling from the top of the screen. When I preview the video so that I can make small changes to the keyframing, I can only see 1 tracks. I have to push the solo button to see what’s on the other track. They will not preview at the same time. Can someone PLEASE help out a fool?

Add another track above and put a color on it (or something).
If you cannot see it then one of the original tracks (the text) is set to solo already. The funny thing about solo is you can ‘solo’ multiple tracks.

    Maybe this helps,

    Jeff

Thanks Jeff. I’m still working at it, but i’m still having issues. This is what’s going on: I plan to have the words ‘original digital’ falling from the top of the screen. I have each letter on its own track. After setting the key-framing, I try to preview the video and I can only see 1 track at a time – even if I solo multiple tracks. I’m frustrated because I did this same thing about 10 months ago and can;t remember what I did.

Your top track with the text will need to have an alpha channel to remove the background and reveal the tracks below. How did you make the text events?

Good point John, I just assumed he was using the text generator.
