  Lost video track on .avi

  I have this .mov file that was recorded from a photo camera and converted to .avi with ImTOO Video Converter. When I import the file to Vegas, it just gives me the Audio Track but I can play the video with Winamp and Windows Media Player and can open it correctly on Premiere (if I just had time to learn Premiere well to edit this video). Why can’t I get the Video track over Vegas?

  Because you don’t have the right codec installed.

  What happens when you drag the mov file to the timeline?
