  need to right and left justify text

  Hi. I’m trying to put text on a video using default text in Sony Vegas Pro 10.0. I see options for align left, align right, and align center. Is there any way I can align text left and right (i.e. so it looks like a box, smooth left and right sides)?

  I know this is a little more complex than left/right/center since it requires different spacing between words. I’ve considered doing it in Adobe Illustrator and importing the text, but I’m hoping there’s an easier way since I have to repeat this process numerous times for different video clips, and I worry it might not come out looking as good.

  Neither of the Vegas titlers have fill justification. The Boris Graffiti plug-in does. Otherwise you’ll have to manually add spaces to try and get it to look right.

  In the Vegas text, there is a parameter for spacing in small incriments. If each line needs different spacing to match width, you can just add another track for those lines with different spacing.

  Thanks for the help, Danny! Seems a viable solution in most instances but as I have dozens of videos and a few hundred total lines of text to work on I’ve had to go with a different solution in this case.
