When I render a video clip and specify: MOV. I get a message of: An unsupported media type was requested
Since the footage needs to be that type for the upload I have to make, how do I override this, or work around it so I end up with a MOV. clip?

    Thanks

    Mims

Do you have QuickTime installed? Specifically the QuickTime that is supported by your version of Vegas?

I have no problems rendering MOV files using Vegas Pro 10c on Windows 7 64-bit with QuickTime 7.6.9.

John: I have Quick time installed but perhaps not the one that is supported by Vegas. (?) I have Vegas 9e. I get an error code if I try to convert to MOV from anything out of Vegas rendered.
    Thanks,

Vegas Pro 9.0e should work with the latest QuickTime. Something on your PC is interfering with this. I would try a clean re-install of QuickTime 7.6.9 and seeing if that helps. Uninstall it, reboot the PC and then re-install it. If that doesn’t work, try the same clean re-install with Vegas.
