You know there should be a comparison chart but we don’t have one. 🙁
It’s pretty simple: Ultimate S Lite is a proper subset of Ultimate S Pro. The Lite version contains 6 of the 15 tabs in the Pro version. You get: PhotoMontage, Markers, Film Looks, Lower Thirds, DVD, & Setup. The Pro version also contains: MotoFoto, Editing Tools, Audio Tools, Visual Effects, Quad-CAM, SpecialFX, Render, Audit, Project. The tabs in common between the two versions are identical.

There should be. I couldn’t find it on our site but it makes sense that we should give you some sort of discount when upgrading. You might want to contact our business office before you buy to double-check but I will also ask.

Thanks John, I wondered if each Tab had the full compliment of tools but I see now that it does. If the upgrade was a straight $100, that would work.

I think I may want to in the future, but I don’t need all that functionality just yet.

While we don’t list an upgrade price from Ultimate S Lite to Pro on our web site, it i usually full credit for current versions. In other words we subtract the price of Lite from Pro and you pay the difference. When you are ready, just contact VASST support (i.e., support at vasst dot com) we will arrange for the upgrade price.

One other question. Are those new FASST plugins new and improved over ultimate-s equivalent functions or are they exactly the same? (I only noticed them after my previous post).

The FASST Apps are currently the same functionality as those found in Ultimate S Pro in a smaller more consumable package so that people can buy only the functions they need. That gives customers two ways to buy the same great functions.
