  Upgrade to Vegas 10

  Hello,

  I bought my Vegas system in August of 2010. It is Version 9. Is the upgrade to 10 pretty seamless? I am new to the product and have really just scratched the surface of what it can do. I am moving to HD production in 2011 and want to be as well prepared as possible. Should I wait on the upgrade to version 10 or do it now? Will it have any negative impact on my existing finished or unfinished weddings/projects from version 9?

  You can install Vegas pro 10 while keeping Vegas pro 9. So you can finish your weddings in Vegas 9 and at the same time play a bit with Vegas 10.

  I believe the two main differences in 9 and 10 are 10 works with AVCHD better and 10 also has a built in stabilizer that works remarkably well. Just make sure you save all your 9 projects in 9 and then make copies to open in 10. If you save a ver 9 project in 10, you won’t be able to open it in 9 anymore.
