No audio when importing .ts video files with 2-3 or 4 audio tracks
I am trying to open a video (.ts-format) that has 4 different audio / language tracks, but once opened in SVP, there is NO audio and I don’t see any audio track either! Why’s that? HOW do I get the audio from my .ts-file to appear on the audio track? And where do I choose which audio / language track I want to have on the audio track? I only see the 1 video.ts but when I drag it to the timeline or trimmer, NOTHING is shown on the audio track….

Which specific version of vegas are you referring to as SVP?
You may have these limitations if you are using an old version

I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure Vegas (or any other editor) will not open the audio in a container format when there are multiple audio tracks muxed in.
Download TSmuxeR (free download), demux into separate audio/video streams. Choose the audio track you want, then remux to a M2TS file. Vegas SHOULD open that properly.

i see. well i am using SVP 9e. will try out the TSmuxer and see how that will work out.
what about SVP 10c? does that handle .ts files with more than 2 audio tracks?

HELLO?! NO support to get here on this?!
And how come that whenever I transport a video/.ts, the audio is by default MUTED?! frigginly annoying that!
