  • Really quick question – Event Pan/Crop

    Hello there!
I just have a quick question that probably has a really quick fix.

Okay, so I have my clip on the time line, right?
When I click on Event Pan/Crop, the window that comes up goes back to beginning of the clip.
Shouldn’t it go to/stay exactly where you are on the time line?

I hope that makes seance but in case it doesn’t, I’ll try and explain it more.
Say I’m at 1:30 on my time line and click the Event Pan/Crop (because that is the area I want to Event Pan/Crop at), when I click it, it takes me back to the beginning of the clip.

Is there a way to fix this?
I just got a new computer and when I had it on my last computer, I’m pretty sure that it stayed in the same spot I was at.

Thanks for taking the time to read this!

Isn’t there a lock icon at the bottom of the event pan and crop window? This should lock the timeline curser to the pan and crop window’s curser. Maybe the lock feature only works on track effects. I don’t have Vegas in front of me right now.

Mine doesn’t work that way – event pan/crop opens with the cursor locked. Make sure the lock (sync to cursor) is selected.

BTW – everything on the timeline are events, not clips.
