    Hello all,

I’ve noticed that when I render videos with my Flip Ultra HD, that the only setting it likes is (in WMV format, I render for Youtube videos) 6mbps HD 720-30p video, in the custom settings, mode, cbr, format, WMV 9, frame rate 30, for the video to not be blurry. I think with just about any other HD camera I’ve tried, the videos will render fine at 29.97fps in the custom settings. The problem is if I use my Flip and another camera, how do I render a video without half of it being blurry? Hopefully this isn’t too much a newb question and thanks in advance!

Well, I just happened to have a friend over with a flip mino-Hd.

That footage is a true 30p with a shutter of 1/30???
This makes quite a bit of motion blur and not overly compatable with 29.97 footage. But not bad…

    I tried multiple configurations…

Sony AVC codec: Internet HD 30p = 29.97 720p ‘Progressive’, do not blend fields under project settings… When render select use project settings…

That was about the best it looked for me, I just don’t like motion blur for my projects. I like Iris of 1/96 or 1/120…
