Which Free Addition to Get?
Apparently, in upgrading from Vegas to Vegas 10 one may select a free download. There are 5 to select from including Vegas Seminar Series, GenArts Wondertouch Particle Illusion (6 mo lease), Sony’s Sound Effects (either 1-5 or 6-10), or Sound Forge Studio 10. Which free download/addition do you believe will be the most useful. I’m leaning toward either Sound Forge Studio 10 or the Sound Effects. A 6 month lease for Wondertouch Particle Illusion will go by awfully fast. As I already have Sound Forge Studio 9 and don’t use it all that much, perhaps one of the Sound Effects sets (1-5 or 6-10) would be a nice addition. Does anyone here use Sony’s Sound Effects or have any other thoughts on this? Thanks.

I just upgraded today. I selected the Vegas Seminar Series. I am quite happy I did. There is a wealth of information in it and I can’t wait to get into all of it. This looks like the best upgrade they have had so far.

Now that my son is getting older and getting into some editing, he talked me into Sound Effects 6-10. I think the Seminar Series would have made most sense for me however. I may end up getting this for me anyways.

So guys, now that you’ve had the freebies for awhile, are you happy with what you picked? I’m in the same dilemma and am having trouble deciding. I had about decided on the Seminar Series then thought, “Well, I’ll probably get more use out of the Sound Effects “when” I use them. I don’t do a lot of that type thing right now, but who knows about the future…
