DVD architect problems..
I’m trying to use DVD architect for the first time… did a short test video…used the main concept mpeg to render the video then did the same for audio using the Dolby digital pro..
opened a DVD architect project..set project settings to DVD and set the necessary parameters.
Want to have a very simple DVD…nothing fancy…so chose the template with a menu. Added the menu and added ‘media’ ..i.e. the project i just rendered … it appeared in a little sub-menu below the ‘menu’…i could navigate between the two.. so when i clicked on Menu the menu page comes up with a little box in it where you would click to access the video i just added.
I burn the DVD…sometimes i get a message saying it will be ‘recompressed’ sometimes not… the first time i did it i got a dvd with part of the video playing on the menu page and when i clicked on the box where the video should be..it played fine. I tried subsequently to do this…without the video playing on the menu page….and can’t get it to work. I burn the video onto a dvd..i can see that there is information onthe disck but when i put it in a dvd player it won’t read it…just keeps wanting to open and essentially reject the disk. I’ve gone through all the DVD architect help tutorials and not getting anywhere…this is a pretty simple issue i am sure…bugt i would think DVD architect wouldn’t be this complicated…. -

…ignore that last post…. i’ve tried the DVD which i burned in two different dvd players….and it seems to work fine… no idea why it won’t work in the first one.
