  Copying scenes to new project

  Hey guys,

  First off, just wanted to say thanks for all the help thus far. It’s greatly appreciated. Just a few more questions I promise.

  I have my 3 minute tradeshow clip, and I have been requested to cut it into to videos. I tried copying the clips I want and pasting them into a new project, but to no avail. I was just wondering if there is a way this could be done.

  Open two instances of Vegas and cut and paste between them. Unlike some other NLE’s you can open as many copies of Vegas as you’d like and be rendering in one while editing in another, while using the third to cut and paste and try out new ideas.
