  Vegas pro 8 and mjpeg

  Hi experts!

  I got some trouble. I have a harddrive full of mjpeg (?) avi files, which I had to edit with Vegas 8. The files are captured via Blackmagic Design Intensity Pro. They are 1920*1080i.
  After installing Morgan Mjpegv2000 trial, Mediap.ayer can play the files, so they are not corrupted. But I can’t add them to Vegas timeline, only the audio appears :(((

  Please give me some clue, what I could do?

  Never mind, I got it.
  For some reason, I lost some registry entries, after reinstall Vegas, it did recognize the files as Sony motion JPEG.
  However, working with them was painfully slow.
  Far below the speed I expected from my quadcore 😉
  After some googling, found recommendations on Morgan Multimedia.
  I tried it, but Vegas could get red frames only.
  After playing around with settings, I found that SSE2 option has to be switched off. So Vegas can use the codec properly.
