  Masking

  Hey guys,
  Relatively new to vegas, just trying to grasp some of the masking capabilities. I’m trying to take a video with a moving logo and a white background ontop of another video. I’ve tried the different masks, but nothing really produces.

  I placed the logo over top of the videoclip and used multiply (worked best), but when I do this, The logo itself becomes transparent and it loses alot of its visibility.

  Anyway to make it clear again?

  Try using the Chromakey pluggin, use the eye dropper and select the white background to key it out. Play with it’s limited three sliders to make the white transparent. FYI, if there’s white in the logo, it’ll key that out too. Also make sure the logo video is on a track above the background video in the timeline. Let us know if this works for yu. Danny Hays
