  Is there an Organizer for Vegas Pro?
  I have accumulated so many different files including pictures, DV video and AVCHD. They are buried in a file hiarchy that is mostly filed by date. I’ve tried the Photoshop Edition Organizer but the AVCHD files don’t show up with a thumbnail. My Canon HD video camera came with some software that displays the video files as thumbnails but only the files that where transfered with that software. It won’t let me import other files.
  I would like to find an Organizer software that will show all of the picture and video files on my hard drive with thumbnails.it needs to be able to preview the video. Preferably a plug-in for Vegas that I could import the files directly to my project.
  Is there anything like that out there?

  That’s what Media Manager is for.
  It came bundled with Pro 8 but after numerous complaints, it’s now unbundled.
  The standalone version for Pro 9 is available for free on the Sony site
