  Youtube issue

  Hi All,

  I really hope someone can throw some light on this youtube issue for me. OK, Ive edited a 9 minute film for some clients which includes a 3 minute section of increased velocity footage (its about 1.5 mins in). Every time i play it on youtube i get 3 or 4 play stalls during the speed ed up portion of the video, even though the load bar shows the video is well loaded ahead of the play position !!!

  Additonal note: if I play the clip on my iPhone – there are no issues, it plays fine !!! Martin

  Youtube usally has two versions of each video. A .flv (flash) amd .mp4 (High quality) Your Iphone unles your on a 4g or wifi network is going to play the .flv version by defalut. This lower quality video lets the iphone buffer stay full enough it doesn’t stall. If you pause the .mp4 version while viewing it on your computer untill the red buffer line at the bottom reaches the end, then play it, it should play back smooth.

  Played fine here, 720p, full-screen.
  Didn’t understand a bit of it, but it played without any obvious problems.
