Weird MOV Issue Vegas 9
For some reason Vegas now will not show video stream for any MOV, QT, H264MOV, or ProRes 422 file. Lets me put it into the bin and drop it into the timeline, but the video is not there (stream is black). Audio is fine.
Had latest version of Quick Time already on the system, already uninstalled it and reinstalled it but no difference. Problem is still there. Help!!!
BTW – Files play perfect in QT (audio and video) but only audio and no video in Vegas.

That is indeed quite weird….Is it the latest version of Vegas
you are using (9.0e) ? If not download and install it, But it seems
maybe your files are corrupt…run the check disk utility and restart

Figured it out running 9a – which isn’t the problem, updated QT to 7.6.7 and that screwed it all up. Rolled QT back to 7.6.0 and all is fine.

Vegas Pro 9.0d and later works with Quicktime up to version 7.6.6. Vegas Pro 9.0c and earlier works with versions up to Quicktime 7.6.2. I haven’t updated to Quicktime 7.6.7 yet so I don’t know if it works.
