p2 capture no audio
i was using vegas 9 platinum. as i was captureing via firewire directly from a p2 camera, audio was comming out of the camera and through the computer speakers, when i finished my capture and loaded the clip into the trimmer there was no audio to be had. about an houre later i captured some more video and everything went fine. any ideas to keep this from happening again because many times i do not have time to recapture the video?
also has anyone had any luck importing directly from a p2 card via a pcmcia card slot?

Vegas does not support the P2 MXF format. You need Raylight Ultra to use it in Vegas and you need a pro version of Vegas for Raylight Ultra.

makes sence thanks for that, any clue why it would not capture the audio the first time around? its killing me because 90 percent of the time we dont have the time to recapture something. i used to think as long as i could hear sound comming from the computer that i was golden but that was not the case here.
