Audio is too faint
My AC3 audio is much fainter in DVDA than it is from the timeline in Vegas.
How can I get the volume in DVDA to match that of the timeline in Vegas?

Go into the AC3 template that you are using and change the Dialog normalization on the Audio Service tab to about -30dB. Then on the Preprocessing tab, set the Line mode and RF mode profile both to None. That should make the audio more true to what is in Vegas.

Dialogue normalization was at -27dB, and the other two boxes were set at something else. I am re-rendering now.
Just so I know, if I make the Dialogue Normalization -20dB, does that make it louder, or softer?

-20dB would be a lot softer. It’s opposite of what you might think.
