Sony DVD Architect 5.0 Pro Problem
Hey all! This is a noobie question. Anyway, I have Sony Vegas 9.0 Pro and DVD Architect 5.0. I know how to use Sony Vegas 9.0 really well, however, I have some questions about DVD Architect 5.0.
I have a video on Vegas that I recorded on my HD camera in 1280x720p, and edited in the same format in Vegas. I render the video in MPEG-2 format for DVD Architect (don’t remember exactly how it says it).
Now, here’s my thing, when I open up a new Architect project, the highest quality templates for DVD are 720×480 (16:9 ratio). I inserted the MPEG-2 video file and prepared/burned it too a DVD. When I play it in my HD television, the quality looks really crappy, especially compared to how the video looks when played in Vegas (it looks awesomely clear) during editing or when taking the MPEG-2 file and dropping it into the editing panel.
So, my question is, is there any way to up the quality, because I can’t seem to find one? I don’t know much about Blu-ray, but I’m guessing if I used a Blu-ray template that was 1280x720p, I couldn’t burn it to DVD.
Anyway, you’re help would be much appreciated! Thanks!
