Opening project error
Hi guys, quite frankly im fed up of sony vegas. This is literally my last chance with it. If know one on here can help me then im going remove all traces of sony vegas from my computer. Its the biggest heap of crap ever. Anyway here’s my problem,

Its been working fine for a while, well when i say a while, i only mean about 48 hours of hard work editing.
So if anyone out there could help me out it would be much appreciated.

You are using version 8.0a when 8.0c is the last version of Vegas Pro 8. Try updating to the latest version and see if it fixes your problem. You can download it from the Sony website here.

What codecs do your source files use? The error is in the MainConcept MPEG decoder. One of the files may be corrupt or just a non-standard format that is causing the error.
