I currently use Vegas Pro 9e and use the Windows Vista 32 bit operating system. I’m ready to switch to Windows 7 64 bit. The Vegas Pro 9 program I have is an upgrade from Pro 8. When I reload Vegas to the new operating system, do I need to reload Pro 8 and then reload the upgrade disk for Pro 9? Additionally, do I need to download all the Pro 9 updates starting with 9a, or are the updates cumulative, requiring only the latest,9e? One last thing, are there any updates that I need that are specific to 64 bit? Thanks!!

It depends. If you bought the upgrade direct from Sony then you don’t. If you bought it from a store you might. try instaling just version 9 and see if your license key works.

No. 9.0e contains all of the updates.

No. You can download and install both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions and keep them at different levels. They are independent of each other. Both are at version 9.0e.
