  capture problem

  i am having a problem capturing footage from my camera.
  The capture window does not detect the camera. I have tried different cameras, and different wirefire cords to see if that was the problem. My only guess is that the port on my computer may have a problem detecting anything? I’ve never had a problem capturing before, so is there anything I may need to try to make sure its not the software?
