<p>Extensive searching and posts on various help sources have convinced me there&#8217;s no particularly easy way to do this. What I ended up doing was:</p>
<ul>
<li>Draw a pattern of diagonal bars in Illustrator.</li>
<li>Wash said image thru Photoshop to make the background transparent</li>
<li>Use keyframes to animate the image crossing the screen left-to-right in&hellip;</li>

<p>So, playing around with my new JVC camera. It has the typical LMH switch for gain. In the menu, you can assign values from -6db to +24dB, in 3dB steps. So, 11 steps spanning 11 stops of adjustment.</p>
<p>You can also switch the camera to measuring in ISO instead of DP. In which case, the values go from 400 to 12,800 in 1/3 stop steps. So, 16&hellip;</p>

<p>I just got my first camera that records LOG footage, a JVC GY-HC500. There are 4 colorspaces available when recording in h.264: ITU 709, ITU 2020, Hybrid Log Gamma, and J-LOG 1. </p>
<p>Doing some test shots outdoors, with bright sun on fluffy clouds, I used my zebra bars to get a good exposure for ITU 709 (f-11, 1/30, 1/64 ND, 0dB gain). I used&hellip;</p>

However, it recorde video as .avi, and the files do not make my Mac happy. I can bring them into Premiere directly, but there are glitches, bursts of static (audio and visual), green banding, mega-pixelization. I tried dropping them into Media ENcoder. <p>Go to the last frame of your zoom. Open the Inspector, and take note of the values for </p>
<ul>
<li>Zoom</li>
<li>Position X</li>
<li>Position Y</li>
</ul>
<p>Then. move one frame to the right, to the first frame of the static shot, and set those all to the same values.</p>

<p>In the Project Manager, right-click on the project. From the popup menu, look for &#8220;Project Backups&#8230;&#8221; near the bottom. This will give you a list of backup files. Click one (or several) and hit &#8220;Load&#8221;. This will put the backup project into the Project Manager, and you can then open it.</p>

I&#8217;m just noodling (nodeling?) around in Fusion, learning the ropes and such. I want to make an animated title where a rainbow washes across the screen like a wave, revealing the text as it goes. Why? Well, waves and rainbows are both very local. Why not?</p>
