I own a DaVinci Resolve Studio dongle. In the past upgrades to new versions of the software have been free. Is that no longer the case? I got on the official site today and the only option I can see is to download the studio version after you pay for it.

I would check out Mocha that comes with After Effects. It is an amazing planner tracker.

My big issue is now Media Encoder messes up on the last few seconds of an export if I use on of the Adobe presets. This is really annoying.

For the transition on use the “CC Page Turn” effect. For the End I would use the mosaic animation prest and add a dissolve. You will have to keyframe from no mosaic to mosaic. Or purchase an 8-bit video game transition.

Roger that. In my opinion. Editing and audio work is faster and easier in Premiere than it is in After Effects. So I do all of my editing in Premiere. For graphic work I find After Effects better but there is a learning curve that might not make it worth it depending on what you want to do. It is nice that the two programs work with one another.
