<p>I figured out the problem. The issue appears to be caused by the separation of position values on nulls.&#x1f605;</p>

<p>I&#8217;m working on a simple animation made with some expressions and a Path follows Nulls function.</p>
<p>In my case the path follow the nulls but the stroke doesn&#8217;t match the path.<br />Here is a screen to better understand.</p>
<p>Anyone know how I can fix this and why this happens?</p>

<p>Your expression inspired me to achieve the desired result while requiring far less CPU processing power.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m using this expression on the first NULL that follows the Leader to calculate the movement and speed, resulting in the precise animation I&#8217;m looking for:</p>

<p>For example, if the leader moves from 0 to 10 at an &#8220;X&#8221; velocity, Child_01 will move from 0 to 11 ( 10 + &#8220;X&#8221; velocity ), Child_02 from 0 to 12, and so on until the End layer. </p>
<p>Sorry, I&#8217;m doing my best to explain.</p>

<p>Their Wave, however, is formed using controls.</p>
<p>I&#8217;d like everything to be built on and driven by a Leader layer.</p>

<p>The first expression works fine, and it does not freeze after effects 😛 , but it doesn&#8217;t have the increasing inertia that I would like to have. Also, when the speed of the animation is slow, it does that jump in the value graph.</p>

<p>Unfortunately, I have overwritten the project. But there were 3 keyframes, the last one ended there where you see the jump in the graph.</p>
<p>The sliders were set with very low values, but even changing them I still got the same result.</p>
<p>I have found another expression here in another forum that does what I need, but it seems&hellip;</p>

<p>I&#8217;m using the Time Displacement effects in many different ways having great results, but, it is unbelievable how much it takes for the render in some cases, even the preview takes 20, 50 or 100 seconds to render each frame.</p>
