Unfortunately not. And it’s really bothering me….Having right now a 4 Camera MultiCam edit of a show with 500 Cuts.
The only way I do it now: after finishing the edit, I duplicate the entire MultiCam edit of Video Track V1 to a second Video Track V2.
Then I flatten all the clips in V2 and then – clip by clip – I copy/paste attributes of V1…

In AVID,. there is an easy way to link to Audio fader together, so when you move one all linked faders move together.
I am 100% sure, there was something similar in PPro.
Is there? Or is it just my wishful thinking?

Hi to all of you.

I encountered a weird error, I never encountered in years of using DVR:
Before upgrading to DVR I wanted to BackUp my DB, but I am getting an awkward error message: Failed to Back Up DataBase.
It’s a Disk DB.
Anybody has any idea why?
I am on the last Version of DVR 17 and I am running Big Sur (OSX).

In the attached clip you can see a particular mild ghosting effect, that is sometimes an unwanted side effect from the De-Flicker Filter.
But I need exactly that specific look for a serious of shots.
Which OFX Filter is there, that can produce exactly this look?

Hi,

I was always very opposed to AMD GPUs, but had to go for my new HacMac with one.
And I must say I am very happy with it: 6900 XT 16GB.
It pretty much rocks.
In the DVR Candle Light Test on LiftGammaGain, I blow almost all other machines out of the water. In the top 3% of all test results.

I actually have my new Hackintosh built by now with the 6900XT Card and it’s rocking hard.
Getting results that surpass in some cases even the NVIDIA 3090 in the Candle Test.

This might interest some people here: I found on the Lift, Gamma, Gain Site – where is a useful Standard Candle Test posted and currently updated through its members – comparing 9, 18, 30 & 666 Blur Nodes as well as 1,2 4 & 6 Noise reduction nodes to see how well each GPU holds up.
And to my surprise, the 6900 XT is on par with the NVIDIA 3090.

Weird answer.
Folks like us? What’s up? Why such a low self-esteem?
I know personally quite a few folks who are working on quiet massive projects.

Yes, the Radeon VII is actually quiet sturdy and fast, but not in sale anymore – aside from second hand. But my technician only builds the machines from new parts – for obvious reasons.
Wonder how good the 6900XT can live up to the Radeon VII on DVR?

I beg to differ: Our Studio works since 8 years with Hackintosh System for DaVinci and AE – including on bigger commercials and Cinema Films.
Reliable and rock steady. Some issues yes, but not more than the real MACs in our studio.
Always depends how and who build the HacMac.

But I work also in many other Apps and every time I worked on PC it was such a nightmare.
I do not get along with this OS at all.
Plus, if there is an issue and I am under pressure/deadline, I am able to find a solution to any problem on a MAC in 99% of the times…. but on PC, I will be Stevie Wonder working as Interior…

apparently it is a known issue, that more professionals encountered with DVR:
Let’s say I have 3 Cameras, I line them up and created a MultiCam TL synced up from the three.

Then I drop this MultiCam Nest on a TL, where I then do my MultiCam editing, switching between the three Cams, causing an edit point each time I switch.
