try turning OFF Composition-Preview-cache idle frames

yea..with the shape repeater or with element 3d using animation engine

The preview just stutters so bad it doesnt even play forward. I tried on 2020 and 2021 Ae and same problem…it only started suddenly mid project but now its on all my projects…i have no idea whats going on and the folks at AE are useless

you draw a straight line then throw a radial spiral spin effect on top.

element 3d. create a grid set it to be transparent and auto trace, or do it in illustrator…

then use texture of your footage on top of these squares…increase outline a bit so it fills in the gaps, then play with the 3d scatter settings in element and animate

any idea how to do this in 2020 windows after effects…i been waiting years thinking they would change it back to yellow…i was wrong

I wish that was the region was for. IT would actually be useful if you could fix a part of the screen and it would just render that part of the screen..sadly that is not what it does. its for viewing purposes only

I dont think layer styles work in 3d…but you could a layer style then precomp and make 3d

if you take a paint stroke and add a mr mercury to it, you get some nice motion ..

you want a complicated thing and you dont know what your doing or how to use after effects…GREAT!!!…and how did that other guy track this animation on here with no track points or 3d? ttacking of any kind

sometimes too “big” can be just as bad as too small. set your texure to 1920 and set to uv mapping on the model

just put them in order. that sounds like it would be really difficult

after effects has a hard time with longer clips. and 10 mintues is very long in AE. Have you tried rendering to a png sequence instead of movie files. then output that as a single movie. I think it will help.

do you have a null 3 and a null 4? it needs both

you cant just copy and paste. you need to duplicate all related comps in the project window and replace them into the newly copied comp

you can use anything..just be sure the program your using- if its not photoshop or illustrator..allows you to set your own resolution or dpi

no…mocha is definitely way way faster and easier…just takes like a 20 minute tutorial

YEs its very annoying…Iv been doing After effects for years and I dont know why that button is there…It would be useful if it only rendered what was in that square…but thats is not what it does

so you just want slow moving bubbles? you could use mr mercury on a reflection map then play with the gravity and speed and suchuntil you get what you want…

just a glow on a sold with add…that should basically work. or use a 2.5D version of the text as a luma matte

i believe the technique your talking about invovles adding a mosaic and then stretching
