Dear Resolve users

I have a problem with Resolve Studio 20.0 Build 49 crashing with no obvious intensive processing occurring – almost idle state one could say.

I work on an iMac and can’t upgrade Resolve Studio because I need OS 14 and I can’t upgrade Ventura 13.7.7 – since “my mac is up to date”

Is there any solution to this problem?

I have fixed the problem. I just ran “First Aid” in the disk utilities on my mac drive. Now Finder sees ex-fat files.

I have now loaded Ventura 13.2.1 but it has not solved the problem!

Hallo. I am running Monterey 12.6 and have a problem reading ex-fat SD cards.

I had no problems until today. Now Finder only finds Apple OS Extended Journaled files. The disc utility always finds the SD cards but Finder only if they are formatted Mac OS Extended Journaled.

My version of Resolve (17) was automatically updated and now the left info column (effects and imported media etc) is missing. The canvas has taken over that space. How do I get that back again?

I keep losing System Preferences (SP). After clicking on the Apple and selecting System Preferences, the window does not appear. I have to do a computer reset for that to show up again. Then it appears – but only the first time. If I want SP again then I have to restart my computer.

I work with studio quality audio = external DAC on my iMac and Studio monitors

and need to optimise my audio for less than ideal target listening equipment like iphones and so on.

Are there any guides as to what is needed in the way of equalisation?

Hi Eric

I think I have a workaround.

I joined these suspect clips together using Quicktime and found that I could cut them again and that these snipits no longer caused a problem for Resolve.

Thanks Tom for your fast response with help.

The clips were corrupted from the camera and would not play with VLC etc. I used an online service (at a cost) to recover the data. In the deliver page they play up to the end and then Resolve reports the error.

I have some clips which had to be recovered from corrupted files.

The clips play correctly and I can edit and colour correct, however in Deliver page the process reports an errer at the end of the clip and exits.

Any ideas?

Resolve 17.4.1

I have a project set for 1080p 25. That is all settings in the Master Settings are 25 fps.

When I go to deliver the only frame rates that are available are 23.976, 24 and 30.

I have Resolve Studio 17.2 build 11 and have done several projects but have not had this problem,

What should I do?

I am a long time user of Resolve Studio. I have now started with ATEM Mini Extreme Iso, but the generated resolve edit file requires the activation code to start Resolve. I have lost this code, any suggestions?
