<p>I&#8217;m trying to increase my preview speeds as its taking so long. My pc struggles when I need try and preview clips with CC Force Motion Blur set high (shutter angle 400, Samples 15) also at 4k.</p>
<p>I did check task manager and I can see my GPU usage hitting 100% at times. Looks like a GPU bottle neck.</p>

<p>I have 64GB ram. I checked Ram usage and its sitting at 97%</p>

<p>it occurs when handling video footage, not with images or layers.</p>

<p>I have 2 monitors connected to the GPU via HDMI and display port. </p>

<p>How much RAM (from the GPU) is dedicated for AE usage?   how do i check this</p>

<p>This has been an ongoing issue, I have spoken to maybe a dozen people at Adobe support and I did all their trouble shooting and nothing worked. They ended up telling me to reformat my PC which I really don’t want to do.</p>
<p>I will explain what happens as it&#8217;s unusual.</p>
<p>My PC freezes completely, not just AE.  Freezes for about 20 seconds and m&hellip;</p>

It will only be short footage maybe 4 seconds long. The issue isn&#8217;t so much just making the water move a little its more the waves as that needs to move forward?  any ideas are welcome. </p>
