<p>When I right click to eject my media drive &#8211; apple gives me the option to erase the drive &#8211; RIGHT BELOW eject. Now I can read and click the buttons etc.  but I have clicked &#8220;erase&#8221; twice this week. Is this supposed to be good software engineering? Happy editing everyone </p>

I usually leave core video footage on an external drive and keep the PP files and things like additional photos, music, effect passes, round trips on a desktop folder as (mac) the cloud would back that up. I&#8217;d have 2 copies of the source footage  files on 2 separate external drives. But it would be&hellip;</p>

Only problem is Media 100 and all the old systems transcodes everything &#8211; then I gotta drop it in a m100 time line and export to h264 </p>

Super high data rates, 2 pass vbr, maximum bit depth &#8211; doesn&#8217;t matter = banding. Somebody straighten me out please and I&#8217;ll buy you a pizza. (everything fine in Pres btw)</p>
