I need to send a client some C4D files where I have used commercial textures, and the terms of use prevent sending them as separately accessible assets, so I can’t use a simple “export with assets” here. Is there a way to burn them in to the C4D in some fashion, or turn the textures and/or materials into a library which cannot be accessed…

It would seem you have an editable effect applied to a layer rather than a simple raster layer. I mean is the gradient a layer effect?

The Perspective Warp would be a better tool for what you describe.

Another option is to select the image (Ctrl-A) before using Free Transform (in which case the image information outside of the canvas will not be transformed but cut out).

Just in case anyone is looking for a solution to this old problem:

What you can do is use Edit>Transform>Warp, select any of the presets and zero the main setting out, then use the H% value to warp the image in the manner described in the original question — squeezing it at one end linearly and without perspective distortion.

You can precomp everything and use Time Remapping, after which you can you an expression for Time Remapping to change the current time by an offset value if certain condition is met. CTI wont move but the result will be as if it did.

Hi, I noticed that I have been subsribed to over 2000 discussions, I would guess automatically during the site upgrade, as I don’t recall subsribing to such. Rather than unsubscribing one by one, is there a way to unsubsribe from all discussions (not forums, but individual discussions)?

You can export C4D objects as AE layers and render matte passes for them (two separate actions). Then you can replace the layers with footage in AE and use the matching mattes as track mattes to reveal the areas you want visible (rounding off corners or hiding areas where other objects pass in front, etc.

I guess it depends on who you ask… I certainly still use mine for that purpose, as well as the original FHD pocket camera.

Not that I’ve ever made a lenticular image, but are you sure you don’t need 4 pixels of one image followed by 4 pixels of the other rather than 2 and 2? As far as I can tell you’re getting 150 lpi with the 2 +2 method.

If the text is normal Western direction with one rotated 180 degrees and starting from end of the other, you’re better off making two separate books the normal way and combining at PDF stage for printing.
