<p>The old VideoReDo software has worked for this task. However, it won’t complete an encode lately. And it&#8217;s seemingly an EOL from quite some time ago.</p>
<p>I’ve tried generating the .mcc files directly from PPro export. Or have made an .srt file and converted with REV. Neith&hellip;</p>

<p>I will be using a combination of HDMI and SDI. And I might could raise the budget some. I feel much better using scopes on the monitor vs scopes within PPro, but, that is just a &#8220;me&#8221; thing. I will be making a decision before too long.</p>

<p>Opened FCP and while libraries and assets are still there, the projects (sequences) are all</p>
<p>Gone in every single library I’ve looked at. The events are still there, but, no projects within.</p>
<p>I only need one single project, and can’t find it. </p>
<p>Any ideas?</p>

I now have a backup system, PC, and would love to get that workflow out of an &#8220;edit ready&#8221; like converter, especially with rewrap, no conversion, it&#8217;s so fast!</p>

<p>Some of my shortcut keys have stopped working. Especially the basics like cut and paste (Ctrl C and Ctrl V) My selection ones like Ctrl A, and deselect Ctrl D. Also Inverse (Ctrl I). Many other shortcuts work fine. I do notice that on the drop down menus the shortcut key guide doesn&#8217;t indicate the&hellip;</p>

<p>Trying to make an MPEG 2 with captions (or without, getting the same result).</p>
<p>Source File is also an MPEG 2. </p>
<p>All i get is an audio file with no video and what sounds like fast forward sound?</p>
<p>It was like this before my recent upgrade as well. Reboots don&#8217;t change anything.</p>
<p>Weird, I know?  Any ideas?</p>

I am almost there.</p>
<p>During this downtime I updated to Big Sur and Premier 15.0. This has allowed me</p>
<p>to drop the .scc file on the timeline. However, i still need to export the caption file as an embedded CEA 608. The only options on Premier at export are the sidecar, or burn in video. </p>

<p>Had to add Premier Pro and the T-Tap would work on both apps, switching seemlessly.</p>
<p>However, that did not last long. Now, T-Tap works fine on Premier and doesn&#8217;t work on FCPX.</p>
<p>In fact, if my T-Tap is even connected, FCP will not open up at all, just a pretty beachball.</p>
<p></p>
<p>Any ideas?</p>

<p>I do have Apple Compressor. </p>
<p>Editing is done on Premier Pro. </p>
<p>I&#8217;ll give the compressor solution a shot and see how it works.</p>
