I have a iMac, mid ’17, i7, 4 core, 27″, 4.2Ghz processor, 8gb ram, ssd (see more below). Mojave.

I want to start using aftereffects again on it—c.5.5 for now. I read it will run, more or less, on Mojave some write.

Decision to make: should I upgrade to 64gb of ram – $175, and keep using this one for 2 more years?

mixing ram sticks means dont use 2 different sized sticks, like 2×32, the 2×4…ok.

Just curious, how much ram do you use to run AE?

I am going to get 64GB more.
Should i get 2 x 32 so in case later i can add 64 more?

Should i use 64 now, plus the 8 (2×4) that are there, for 72GB?

Michael, if he used the corner pin and added an animated texture then he would have to just mask out the still image of the feet, right?

ok, so you just drag them in and the anchor point makes it go to that place…nice…

why do you put the anchor point at the corners of each like above?

render all animations 1-4, import into master project, they will be 4 layers in the one comp. resize them to be the desired format : like this one would guess from the description
