<p>I&#8217;m on an iMac and my hard drive recently died. I was able to have a new drive installed and do a complete backup from my Time Machine with no issues.</p>
<p>However.</p>
<p>When I go into Resolve (18.6) and try to open a project, my timelines are gone.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s when it opens. Trying to open a different project just crashes the app outright.</p>

<p>Can anyone give me advice about the best way to do this that is the most &#8216;universal&#8217; ????</p>
<p>I&#8217;d like for them to be able to plug the drive into pretty much anything and be able to watch the video. I&#8217;m in a Mac environment, but&hellip;</p>

<p>Someone who is not used to being on camera will begin a statement or an answer to a question very loudly, and then taper off as they get to the end of the sentence.</p>
<p>Apart from setting a keyframe at the beginning and end of each statement and ramping up the volume, is there another way to fix this?</p>

<p>I&#8217;m going to do a shoot where I&#8217;ll have an interviewer and an interviewee.</p>
<p>I&#8217;d like to hook them both up with lavs and have two separate audio tracks when I&#8217;m done. In my experience, the camera mixes both tracks into a single stereo output.</p>

<p>I&#8217;ve deleted my preferences (Adobe&#8217;s usual solution) many times, and it works for about a week.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m working with small (&lt;2mb) stills in a 1920&#215;1080 timeline. So&#8230; It&#8217;s not like I&#8217;m working with 8K footage&#8230;</p>
<p>My computer has many old versions and leftovers from adobe. I wonder if deleting all of&hellip;</p>

I&#8217;m wondering converting all of my clips to 1080p will give me more stable performance.</p>
<p>The video&#8217;s final home will be on the web, so the extra resolution isn&#8217;t that big of a plus.</p>
