Still the same.</p>
<p>There is something wrong with my sand image. I tried putting a random jpg image from a photo of a road sign under the beach track, and it showed through as expected.</p>
<p>This is weird. It looks great in preview, but the sand track just doesn&#8217;t compile.</p>

I don&#8217;t need the mask cutout. I removed the mask and the preview still looks perfect, but when I render it the towel is still in the corner- as if the sand.png layer was not even there.</p>

I&#8217;ve done this before and can&#8217;t figure out why it isn&#8217;t working now.</p>
<p>I have a beach scene with a towel in the corner that I want to remove. (Image 1)</p>
<p>I masked out that corner (image 2)</p>
<p>I made png image with just the beach (Image 3)</p>
<p>Image 4 is my timeline. The sand png is on the&hellip;</p>

Rearranging the deck chairs might give you a few percent speed boost, but there are only two ways to get faster render speeds.</p>
<p>1) Faster processor (more cores helps, too).</p>
<p>2) Less video to render.  That means lower resolution or smaller image size or using an uncompressed&hellip;</p>

If you need a project finished fast, use Vegas.</p>
<p>The problem is that employers gravitate to Premiere because &#8220;everybody&#8221; uses it. </p>
