Yes downloaded / installed latest Studio drivers. GPU acceleration is set to CUDA and turned on. And no, considering its running off the SAME drive, this is not the cause. Besides, it’s a Samsung Pro 980 SSD NVME drive.

Looking at audio device type under Preferences / Audio Device, I have an option for cmasiopxPCIX, which is probably my audio card as its Asio based.
Are there any advantages in choosing that over Microsoft Sound mapper, or Direct Sound Surround Mapper?

Also, what have people found works best between the MS sound mapper and Direct Sound Surround?
