Yes those words from Mads are true. Just wait and finish the project. Ain’t broke, don’t try to fix it. There would be no one to put it back together again except you and… well trust me, don’t do it now. 4 years is a very long time and a LOT of work.

Okay thank you. I turned of GPU acceleration and it immediately worked. I will now upgrade my drivers as yes, it’s a new Windows install and I have not updated them. Thank you for the fast response!

Yes version 22.0.0.239, latest to January ’24, when I start a new portrait video, and import any portrait video, in the trimmer and preview window, the video top half is black. Works fine if sent to a a second monitor or rendered… But.. it’s not working in the main UI on the single monitor. Always worked fine in vegas 21, so wondering if this is…
