<p>Can somebody advise me on the best export settings for YouTube. </p>
<p>I’m shooting in 1920&#215;1080 25p</p>
<p>If I choose the default YouTube setting in Resolve the file size is a bit on the Large size.</p>
<p>I have chosen Custom for export and I use:</p>
<p>MP4, H.265 with Quality set to Automatic, but a friend said I s&hellip;</p>

<p>I&#8217;ve checked folders in Resolve, it just does not import the AVCHD file on the screen grab image in previous post. </p>

<p>When I go to import media I an click on the AVCHD file, but when I click import it does not come in.</p>
<p>I have a Panasonic GH5 and an iPhone and footage from both these comes in no problem. </p>
<p>I don&#8217;t know why Resolve won&#8217;t recognise the Sony files, any ideas?</p>

It was a Mac thing. Had to go into Mac System prefs/Security and Privacy/Microphone and check the DaVinci box as it was unchecked. </p>

<p>I&#8217;ve followed the manual and watched three different YouTube tutorials. I &#8216;patch&#8217; and choose all the right settings but when I &#8216;arm&#8217; the voice over track by pressing the record button the level indicators don&#8217;t move when I speak, if I make an actual&hellip;</p>

Yes, confusing that the main menus simply grey out things that only work in other pages, they should just disappear altogether to save the confusion, I&#8217;m sure BM coders can work that one, just have them invisible instead of greyed out.</p>
<p>Fairlight page thing does not help. I need a fast keyboard shortcut&hellip;</p>

It&#8217;s a drag as I add loads of keyframes for the audio volume to get volume to go up  and down at certain points and I have to move the mouse over and click the tiny keyframe symbol each time,&hellip;</p>

<p>I’ve gone into Resolve ‘Preferences’ and set the ‘User/Editing’ ‘Start Timecode’ to 00:00:00:00, however, project still starts at 01:00:00:00, any ideas? </p>
<p>Closing Resolve and re-starting retains my User settings, but existing and new projects insist on starting Timecode at 01:00:00:00, which is a drag for my&hellip;</p>

Can it be done? At the moment I&#8217;m &#8216;right clicking&#8217; on each and every one of them one at a time and this is really time consuming as I have about 100 videos like this I have to edit.</p>
