Cut Video NOT audio

Is there a way to cut the video on a timeline without cutting the audio.

I need to make a copy of the video and drag it over the existing video.

This is needed when creating PIP in Multi-Cam editing.

I just went through a monumental restoration of Adobe Encore on a laptop that I had to “Downgrade” to Mohave because I was stupid and updated my main iMac to Big Sur.

Luckily, I have on my old 2005 iMac Adobe Encore CS5.5 (Close enough!) and I brought over my old library.

I have been creating / Authoring Blue Ray discs with Adobe Encore since 2015 using HD video source.

I edit in FCPx and compress with compressor producing H.264 files. In looking at a past project I have successfully completed, I notice that the H.264 files say “Do Not Trancode”
