<li>I have an AE template that is copied and uniquely renamed for each animation/video.</li>
<li>I have a procedural paper texture behind each video (all the effect seeds linked to a controller).</li>
<li>Each video needs to have a new paper texture, and I can&#8217;t rely on remembering to hand-change the controller each time.</li>

<p>Using Roughen Edges is a great way to create thick and thin line variation &#8211; and using a turbulent displace with small size can create a good roughened texture.</p>
<p>A large turbulent displace can make a straight line a little curvy, but use subtley. If you make the line a little wavy like that, CC&hellip;</p>

At the moment I&#8217;m just leaving a Controller effect with a reminder, but I know it&#8217;s going to get missed.</p>
<p>I know you can&#8217;t select it, but wondering if there&#8217;s a clever effect in Channels or Color Correction. Surely there&#8217;s a way of&hellip;</p>

<p>If I could make the letter height a little random, and subtley spaced randomly I think this would really bring it together but I can&#8217;t work it out.</p>

<p>Maybe I shouldn&#8217;t have mentioned streaming &#8211; I really want to know if this is possible in After Effects first and foremost. I have a lot of things I want to do with this technique, and don&#8217;t want people getting caught up in this particular project.</p>

<p>Go into each problem comp &#8211;&gt; make sure content was continually rasterized there &#8211;&gt; Scripts &#8211;&gt; Scale Comp &#8211;&gt; Factor of 4 &#8211;&gt; Go back and make the scale 25%. (If you&#8217;ve animated the Scale then you&#8217;ll need make each keyframe a quarter the&hellip;</p>

<p>As an example: say I had a loop of a frog sitting and wanted it to randomly play an animation of it croaking, or blinking, or hopping into the water and back again.</p>
