However, I do not want any frames included in the cross-dissolve that are not already in the visible sequence (e.g., nothing from before or after the trimmed clips).</p>

<p>How can I trim all clips by 3 frames on both ends, then remove the gaps, then apply a cross-dissolve? Or, maybe&hellip;</p>

<p>How can I crop out an HD (1920 x 1080) dimension that slowly moves (pans) across and/or zooms in/out (i.e., not just cutting down to a static HD frame)?</p>

<p>I open the &#8220;old&#8221; sequnce from 6 months ago into the timeline.</p>
<p>I copy the motionarray clip (animated texts) into a &#8220;new&#8221; sequence.</p>
<p>I double-click the motionarray clip in the a new sequence.</p>
<p>This opens up yet another sequence with only 3 clips (=3 texts) that form the motionarray.</p>
<p>I edit the texts, then close it.</p>

<p>Now, if I copy or duplicate and paste it into a new sequence, any changes in the text or font in the new sequence are also showing up on the original sequence (from where it was copied from), really annoying.</p>
