Update — I’m leaning toward a Sony a7 to keep use of the lenses I have although I’ll needed a dedicated one to use with this camera to take advantage of the full frame sensor. It sounds like the menus are easier to navigate for vids than those of the Canon, also the mirrorless is lighter weight.

You’ll have to hit pause because a looped section keeps replaying until you intervene.

I’m not sure you can perform the operation exactly as you describe in SV, perhaps someone else knows of a way.
