It<span> can find file errors and fix them on one go.</span></p>
<p>Run PowerShell as administrator and then copy and paste then run this command.</p>
<p>sfc /scannow</p>
<p>It helped me many times with different errors, not just Vegas.</p>

<p>Do you have a paid license and an updated computer?</p>
<p>I understand you&#8217;ve checked everything, so the only thing I can think of is to do a clean installation, not so fun but the only thing I can come up with.</p>
<p>Check all the drivers, but you probably already did that too. I&#8217;ve had Vegas since version 6&hellip;</p>

<p class="">Ungroup them so you can edit them separately using &#8220;Control+U&#8221;</p>
<p class="">Now you can cut, move, fade etc. only the selected soundtrack without affecting the videotrack. The same goes for video tracks.</p>
<p class="">Hopefully, you can remove that strange sound in the end. &#x1f44d;</p>

When it comes and goes like that, it can be a sign of a bad cluster or something else wrong with your drive. Good luck.&#x1f44d;</p>
