<p>As professional film makers, I&#8217;m sure many of us start off the subtitling or captions process WITH the actual official proper clean script. </p>
<p>As of now, all options I find involve some kind of approximative &#8220;AI&#8221; analysis of the audio, resulting in very approximative text, with wrong pronunciations, names, punctuations etc&#8230;</p>

<p>I was trying to find a kind of plugin, or even standalone, simply to create some auto-captioning like it is very commonly done around social media nowadays : the software analyses the audio, converts it to text, and aligns it to the audio giving you the option to select how many words per &#8220;slide&#8221; you want. However this put the null object completely out of the screen and I&#8217;m not able to define its normal starting point. &#x1f633; Because Y value is now under control of the expression.</p>

<p>I&#8217;m afraid I&#8217;m not crafty enough to actually make the pair of covert glasses, but I do like your idea of a 2 part system. </p>
<p>I was also thinking of finding a clever way to dissimulate a gopro because the image quality and angle of view would be really nice if there was a way to hide it&#8230; haven&#8217;t found yet !</p>

<p>Yes I agree indeed about all the additional factors you mentioned, </p>
<p>I am just trying to find a low cost solution for a side project that does not require studio quality audio, just trying to find how to get the best results for how much money I&#8217;m prepared to invest in. </p>
<p>I think latency wouldn&#8217;t be the worse&hellip;</p>

<p>I am always in the middle of nowhere so for me renting wouldn&#8217;t work, </p>
<p>I liked your suggestion of using a wired mic if wireless was absolutely not needed though. <br />But then you enter the insane twisted world of using the doomed 3 rings minijack input of your phone to plug the mic in, which in my experience always&hellip;</p>
